Privacy Policy

What this policy covers

This policy covers appverz.com and buying from it. Each app has its own privacy policy describing what that app stores on your computer — see the app's page, or the support index.

What we collect

• Email you send us — your address and whatever you write, kept so we can answer you and find the thread later.
• Purchase records — when you buy directly, our payment provider handles the card details and passes us the order: your name, email, the item, the amount and the country for tax. We never see or store your full card number.
• Nothing else by default — no account, no advertising identifiers, and no profile built from your visits.

What we never do

• Sell, rent or trade your personal data.
• Track you across other websites.
• Read the contents of the files our apps process — those stay on your machine and are never uploaded.

Who else touches your data

A small number of providers act on our behalf: a payment provider to take payment, an email provider to carry our replies, and the host that serves this site. Each gets only what it needs to do that job.

Apps bought through the Mac App Store are sold by Apple, so Apple holds that transaction and its own privacy policy applies to it.

How long we keep it

Purchase records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires. Email is kept while it is useful for support and deleted when it is not.

Your rights

Write to appverz94@gmail.com and you can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. We will do it, and we will tell you if some record has to be kept for a legal reason.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS. Payment details are handled by the payment provider and never reach our servers. We keep the data we hold to the minimum that makes the deletion question easy to answer.
