What the app stores

Everything the app saves stays on your Mac, inside the app's own sandboxed container, and is deleted with the app:

  • Settings — appearance, sound and music volume, animation speed, accessibility preferences, graphics quality, default rules and difficulty.
  • The game in progress — the board, the seats and whose turn it is, so a game survives quitting.
  • Statistics — games played, won and lost, tokens captured and lost, sixes rolled, and the streak, along with the names you type for the seats.

The names you type for the seats are the only free text the app stores, and they never leave the machine.

What the app does not do

  • No accounts, and no sign-in.
  • No network connections. The app does not contact any server, including ours.
  • No analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs.
  • Nothing is shared with anyone, because nothing leaves your Mac.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages and collects nothing from anyone, children included.

Deleting your data

Removing the app removes everything it stored. Statistics can also be cleared from within the app, in Statistics.

Purchases

The app is distributed through the Mac App Store. Any purchase and any payment details are handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy; we never see them, and Apple does not pass them to us.
